One fun appearance this week is a non-Marvel comic titled Orbit: Stan Lee which features a biography of the one and only Stan "The Man" Lee.
On the horizon is Amazing Spider-Man #669. It follows on the heels of issue #666 and its 142 variant comic shop variant covers. ASM #669 will feature a custom cover where a store can insert a character carrying Spider-Man through the air -- an homage to Amazing Fantasy #15.
It requires an investment in 2000 copies to qualify, so it won't be as widespread as #666. So far only about 4-6 stores are known to be participating, but a few more may come out of the woodwork once the book is released.
